Dr Malarvizhi Raja, granddaughter of former Minister Veerapandi S.Arumugam, popularly known as “Lion of Salem” and daughter of former MLA Veerapandi Constituency Veerapandi A Raja.
Dr Malarvizhi Raja doctor by profession, a successful third generation face with her qualities of her grandfather –clarity and clear foresight , besides being decisive and her expertise in the Social service enhanced her thirst for establishing a technical educational institution under the banner of VSA Group of Institutions. This institution provides exemplary technical education with a team of dedicated faculty members.
A rapidly changing world is one of the biggest challenges facing today's graduates. New technologies, new working practices and changes in tastes and fashions require graduates who are equipped with flexible attitudes. VSA provides students to meet with such skills to succeed.
VSA, a Co-Educational institution was established in the year 2009. The college is spread out on serene sylvan settings on the Salem - Coimbatore national highway, providing a holistic environment, ideal for dedicated study with discipline, away from the hustle and bustle of the modern cities. The serene spiritual atmosphere at VSA helps an individual to discover him and the contribution he can make to the world.
We, at VSA Group of Institutions, will enlighten the hidden technical skills and abilities of youth with highest quality technical education and proper discipline. Today, the institution has grown immensely and magnificently with several buildings spanning an academic area of 8.63 Acres. Hostels 1200 sq.m., amenities 16,000 sq.m., and playgrounds of 10,200 sq.m., The institution has students strength of 2492 as on today.
The college offers six under Graduate Engineering programs and Two Post Graduate programs. VSA Group of Institutions has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification from DNV Netherlands in recognition of its International Quality Standards in technical education. Further to enhance the level of interaction with the industry, VSA Group of Institutions has become a member of confederation of Indian Industry.
